Forever Lazy Fashion Ad

The Forever Lazy Fashion Ad marks the beginning of BROBIEfilms.  And, it was just the creative catalyst we needed to keep writing, shooting, and creating original shorts/sketches.

Our overall approach to this film was simple.  We wanted to create a beautiful and abstract ad for the Forever Lazy in the same vein as a Chanel or Dior commercial.  There was no script, only a shot list, and the rest was pure fun and experimentation.  Given our small crew (3 people) and endless list of ideas to try, the shoot ended up lasting about 8 hours.

Our original vision in the editing room was to make this a dramatic, black-and-white, piece.  However, after reviewing all of Lauren’s more playful takes, we instantly fell in love, and made a quick u-turn in the video’s direction.  If you want to see some of the dramatic shots that got cut from the final video, take a look at the Deleted Scenes and Outtakes video.

NOTE: Just for the record, we created this before Brad Pitt’s ridiculous Chanel Ads went viral.
